Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ayva Technologies ("we") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use HireOrbyt, including Career Studio.

1. Data We Collect

Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed). Content you provide: resumes, job descriptions, and interview responses (text, audio, and video during interview sessions). Assessment data: AI-generated scores, reports, and behavioural signals produced during interviews. Payment data: handled by Razorpay — we never see or store your card, UPI, or banking details; we store only the payment reference and amount. Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and usage logs.

2. How We Use It

To provide the service (run interviews, score resumes, generate reports); to process payments and maintain your credit balance; to secure the Platform and prevent fraud and abuse; and to improve the service. Resume and interview content is processed by AI model providers solely to generate your results and is not used by us to train models.

3. Sharing

For individuals (Career Studio): your practice sessions, scores, and resumes are private to your account and are never shared with employers. For candidates interviewed by an organisation: your interview responses and reports are shared with the organisation that invited you. Processors: we use vetted service providers (cloud hosting, AI model APIs, payment processing via Razorpay, email delivery) bound by contractual confidentiality. We do not sell personal data.

4. Storage and Security

Data is stored with enterprise cloud providers with encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access isolation between tenants, and httpOnly authenticated sessions. Access is restricted to personnel who need it to operate the service.

5. Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time; we delete or anonymise it within 30 days except where law requires longer retention (e.g., payment records under Indian tax law).

6. Your Rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, to grievance redressal, and to nominate a representative. To exercise any right, email info@hireorbyt.com — we respond within 15 days.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read; it sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_0BQ4Y0NZ3Q, which distinguish a returning visitor from a new one. Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary — blocking them with any browser setting or extension stops the measurement and breaks nothing on this site.

We do not use third-party advertising or remarketing cookies, and we do not share this data with advertisers.
