Score your resume, free

Upload a PDF and get a real score out of 100 in about twenty seconds — impact, clarity, structure and ATS-friendliness, judged by the same engine employers on HireOrbyt use. No account. No card. We do not store your resume — it is read to produce the score and then discarded, unless you ask us to email you the full fix list afterwards.

Free, no account. Your file is read to produce the score and then discarded — we keep no copy unless you ask us to email you the full report afterwards. Three scores per day.

Questions, answered honestly

Is the resume score really free?
Yes — the overall score and the four sub-scores are free, with no account and no card. The specific list of fixes is what a free Career Studio account unlocks.
Do you keep my resume?
Not unless you ask us to. The PDF is read in memory to produce the score and then discarded — not stored, not attached to an account, not shown to any employer. The one exception is if you choose to have the full fix list emailed to you afterwards: to do that we keep the resume and your email address, and every one of those emails carries a one-click link to delete both, no account needed.
How is the score calculated?
Four dimensions, each out of 100: impact (quantified outcomes rather than duties), clarity, structure, and ATS-friendliness (standard headings, parseable formatting, keyword coverage for your field). The overall score weighs impact highest. It is calibrated deliberately: a typical resume lands between 55 and 70.
Is this the same check employers run on HireOrbyt?
No, and the difference matters. An employer's screening compares your resume against one specific role's required skills and experience. This checks the quality of the resume itself, against no particular job.
Will a better score get me hired?
It gets you read. A resume that a screening system cannot parse, or that lists duties instead of outcomes, fails before a human sees it — that is the part this fixes.

Then put it to work

A better resume is only worth something if it reaches an employer. Roles hiring through HireOrbyt are listed openly, and applying takes one upload.
