AI interviews that ask about the candidate's actual resume
The problem with asynchronous video interviewing is not the video. It is that everyone gets the same five questions, those questions circulate within a week, and what you end up measuring is which candidates prepared answers to a list rather than which can do the job.
HireOrbyt generates the questions per candidate, from their own resume and the role being hired for. Two applicants for the same position get different interviews, because they have different backgrounds to probe — which is also what makes the answers worth reading.
What you get
Questions from this candidate's resume
Generated against the parsed resume and the role, so the interview follows what the person actually claims to have done rather than a generic script.
Voice-led, not a form
The candidate speaks; responses are transcribed and evaluated. It behaves like an interview because that is what it is measuring.
Topics recorded up front
Each interview declares the concepts it will cover, so the candidate knows the scope and you know what was assessed.
Runs without a panel
A 40-minute active-time session that a candidate takes when they can, with a server-authoritative timer that pauses on disconnect rather than punishing a dropped connection.
How it works
- 1
Schedule against a role
The interview is created for a candidate and a position, and the candidate gets a session link.
- 2
Questions are generated
From the candidate's resume and the role, at session setup — not pulled from a shared bank.
- 3
The report is built
Responses are scored across five pillars and assembled into a report with a recommendation.
Questions we get asked
Does a human still make the decision?
Yes. HireOrbyt produces a scored report and a recommendation; the hire/reject decision is recorded by a person in the HR workflow, with an audit trail. It does not auto-reject anybody.
What happens if the candidate's connection drops?
The session timer is server-authoritative and accumulates active time only. Disconnecting pauses it and rejoining resumes where they left off, so a bad connection does not cost a candidate their interview.
Can we use our own questions?
Question generation is resume- and role-driven by design. If you need a fixed compliance question set, tell us during the demo — that is exactly the kind of thing worth confirming before you buy rather than after.
